How to increase Authority and Confidence for google earn by blogging adsense income

Hi there, running a blog kind of website and I want to rank better in google. I've just updated my website with a much nicer design, I have improved my URLs and have written better all my posts ... I assume if I were selling sthg I could get some ranking /reviews for my website, but as I don't sell anything (yet) how can I improve those??
