Hey all. I've been working with a group of engineering students to develop a drone / glider which helps address some often-cited problems that disaster response workers face. This started as a hobbyist project, but soon enough we realized that it could be used to improve current aerial surveying and data collection methods in these scenarios, so we started focusing on that. We've built a prototype that we are quite happy with and want to get feedback from would-be customers- but the next step is unclear.
If anyone has experience selling high-tech solutions to organizations operating in foreign countries, I would appreciate it if you set us on the right track. Is contacting foreign organizations directly the way to go? Or should we try to find a local division (not sure how viable this is in my country)? Perhaps there is another approach that we're not privy to?
