As a non-medical professional, can one open their own healthcare clinic/multidisciplinary care clinic and run it as a practice manager? If so, what would one's requirements be? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

I have come across clinics which are owned by people who come from business backgrounds alone. Other clinics are co-owned, often having a co-founder with a business degree handle the business side, and the other with a medical degree being the medical chief officer.

I am just abit confused as there are some laws that do not permit a non-physician to own a clinic, however there are many practices out there owned by people without a medical degree? Can someone with a business degree open up a clinic as long as they have a partner who has a medical profession?

Was hoping anyone could provide some insight into this.
