I recently changed a pages subdomain. It fell 11 places. Is this permanent? earn by blogging adsense income

In Google, I had a fourth-ranked site for the keyword window repair in Berwyn IL. I changed my subdomain so it was much more relevant to the Keyword, and it dropped 11 places. I had a lot of backlinks going to the site, but I redirected the original URL to the new URL. Will it go back to the original place and how long will it take?
