Tips/strategies for creating an online store? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Specifically for ecommerce entrepreneurs. I'm going into 2018 wanting to make my website a lot stronger.

When I first started building my site I was really focused on design and copy, but I didn't do much to try and get my store out there (because apparently I thought the aesthetic would bring people in all by itself - ha). I've been starting to get more into social media advertising and SEO, but I feel like there's a lot more I can be doing.

Building a solid store online is so much more than just the product. I found this list of tips this morning that I think is worth sharing because there are definitely checkpoints I am missing, and I am wondering what other folks are doing with their site. For instance, I should be listing product reviews. Also we are a very small company so customer support is still something I handle, but I haven't taken the time to come up with a really solid support system.
