Hi guys and girls.
I have a problem. More of a conflict with my business partners in fact. They believe that for the first 2/3 months, sales staff should be on commission only while they are trained and can prove that they can do the job, but I feel that this will lead to low quality staff and high turnover. Has anyone previously had this issue?
In addition, the industry is finance and we will be FCA regulated. I do not want to seem like an unprofessional outfit, yet the head of sales believes this is the best hiring policy.
What are your thoughts on benefits vs cons? It would be great to hear from anyone who has had experience with commission only.
