Need help with problem regarding pre-launch lead collecting and marketing on instagram. entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Hi guys!

Okay, so the business is a not so niche, niche apparel/clothing brand. Yes yes I know...Very typical... Anyways, initial thoughts are to gather leads on Instagram (IG) before launch so we can hopefully have some customers when we launch. The thing is with IG, you kind of need pictures of products to really sell your brand. The apparels are mostly in pre-production now so I'm having a hard time coming up with what to post. Seeing as I dont have products on hand to showcase em in pictures on IG for collecting leads.

So my question is, what can I do in this instance? Do I post other brand's pictures to build up an audience? Is it practical? I mean, I'm technically their competitor, would they be willing to let me repost their pics?

Do I post relevant pictures to my brand? I'm having a hard time thinking of such pics without leading back to the problem of no products no pics. Any one that could help a brother out? I mean you usually have to start somewhere with marketing on IG.. just don't know where.. If there's anything that you think is relevant feel free to drop me a message about it too Thanks!
