Here are some solid tips for ranking in Google in the YEAR 2017 and Beyond...

1. Mobile Friendliness is not optional

2. When Creating Content, Write About One Topic First

3. Learn Important Keyword Metrics

• Search volume - Average number searches each month
• Clicks per search - How many average clicks per search
• Keyword difficulty - A score of 0 to 100 with higher scores being harder to rank for

4. Inbound Link Anchor Cloud

Be aware of the copy used on inbound links. It's super important they match they keywords you want to rank for.

You'd be shocked how many inbound links are not helpful to a successful SEO campaign. It's very common for law firms to have a bunch of links with the partners names.

Any link is good. But having keyword focused inbound links is great.

That said don't make all inbound links exact matches. Just be aware of your "Inbound Link Anchor Cloud" or "inbound link portfolio". Must people don't have a clue what this even looks like.

5. Focus on White-Hat SEO, Avoid Link Buying
