Starting a web design business. Local or global? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Hey there!

I'm currently employed as a graphic designer and want to start my own webdesign business. I would do it next to my job.

One question which I cannot really solve. Go local (and german) and search for clients in my country. Or go global (english/german) and try to search clients all around the globe.

What would you do?

Ultimately, I was deciding for months if I should do a "buy photoshop resources" website or a webdesign business. Nobody can tell me which way to go and I'm breaking my mind about it. It takes many hours if I want to make those resources to sell them, but I would prefer passive income as I'm a bit scared of clients. I know what they expect. And in the websdesign field they always think "Anyone can make webpages" "WOW 1000$ for a website?, I give you 50 bucks".

I just cannot make up my mind. Sell resource website, or make webdesign. If I make webdesign, should I go local or global? Or if I do the resource selling website, do you think this can be a successfull thing?
