What are some alternatives to youtube? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Hi there,

I'm not really sure if this is the right subreddit to ask this question, but I thought I'd give it a go.

Basically I have ideas about putting some content out there. I don't plan on this being a real source of income or anything like that, at least for the moment. I just want to produce content which I enjoy and which I think will help people; just basically to get my ideas out there!

Youtube seems like the obvious choice, but are there any alternatives, even if not video based? Furthermore, is there any 'up and coming' website which works in a similar way to Youtube? The whole drama of Youtube is something which kinda puts me off but I'm not completely against the idea of uploading content on there.

Any advice would be greatly received.
