I’ve been evolving a business idea since about April. After lots of twists and turns on a road that led to a much different concept than my original idea; I’m ready to take the next steps.
So I’m coughing up $4k for a trainer to take a certification class. I was planning to pay him in 1099 for his first 2 weeks of training because there will be a month gap after his training and prior to the last piece of the puzzle coming together.
I’ve done a startup before but have never been responsible for the accounting side and I want to get it right. I also know the road to success is full of unforeseen land mines that can derail even the most iron clad business plan. Knowing that, I’d like an accounting system that is cheap as hell for starters. Ideally one that can grow with me OR at least has the option to export data to a more robust system.
Can anyone suggest an accounting system with minimal upfront investment ?
