I recently designed a simple kitchen product that I was in the process of applying a patent for but discovered a very similar patent filed 10 years ago which would prevent me from getting mine.
The old patent has now expired and is public knowledge.
I'm considering just making the product at home and selling them online but not sure if this is worth it if the product is easily duplicated, what do yous think?
