Hey everyone. Looking to speak with someone with more knowledge of this situation than myself. Just wanted to get peoples thoughts on the valuation of business. I know I can hire a broker and so forth, but before I do, thought I'd ask my favorite subreddit.
I run a small digital marketing agency that has a list of some great clients. We're making on average recurring $7,400/month. Our profit margin is high at 78%. Anyone who does digital marketing understands the low overhead high margins. We do all the basics like any other agency: social media, SEO, digital advertising, content creation, ect... Nothing really sexy about our agency. We have a pretty cool little boutique brand and have decent organic rankings and are known in some circles as small business advocates and thought leaders.
All of our outside work like content creation is contracted out to people who do quality work and trust, but are still inexpensive. Our agency is literally ran by myself and my partner, which for the early stages was mostly part-time. The only thing our agency is missing is time and attention. We have another business in the cannabis industry which we are way more passionate about and need to allocate time and resources to. It's much more scalable as well.
I'm not asking for you to "valuate" my business, but any advice or thoughts on if you think this could sell would be great. Our books are 100% clean, our clients are 100% happy, and majority of our clients are in 12 month contracts. Plus we have a large database of qualified leads we have never tapped, again due to lack of want/time/and effort. (Bad excuse, I know! Shame on us!)
Thanks in advance.
