I recently launched a classified ads site for my alma mater. It's been getting several hundred hits a day and based on current traffic growth it may eventually grow to several thousand hits a day. The problem is, I don't have any idea on how to go about monetizing it. AdSense is out due to their restriction against "dating" sites, and I'm not too sure how promising adult ad networks like JuicyAds are (ideally the ads would be no more raunchier than some of the personals ads people post.) I've heard that affiliate advertising is an option, but I'm not sure my site would qualify based on its traffic levels.
Does anyone have any thoughts about this?
