I want to manufacture a product that is not on the market, but the idea was patented back in 2002. What are my options? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

I came up with an idea for a product, and I've searched and searched to find it online but I have not found anything of its likeliness. However, I did come across a patent for pretty much the exact same product, but it was registered back in 2002. I was wondering how I might go about dealing with the patent holder in my pursuit to manufacture and market this product? I'm in the united states.
