Back in 2006 I created a parody site called the church of google (thechurchofgoogle.org). It was the first website I ever created and surprisingly became quite popular at the time. It had/has links from DMOZ, wikipedia, gizmodo, techcrunch. According to SEMrush it even has 10 edu backlinks and a domain authority of 45.
Given the sites DA, age and loose relation to tech, should I 301 redirect to my new startup? I’m concerned it will hurt edabit.com because thematically, the two are obviously not related.
It's my understanding 301 redirects are only considered "black hat" if you buy other peoples websites for this purpose. Since I've always owned both sites, it would be grey at best. Should I do it?
