Hey guys, I posted a few days ago about my store and got some great responses and feedback met some cool people. Some naysayers too (You!..) But I didn't post publically about website, this time I would like to share some information about how I started and what my website has accomplished.

Currently my website has over 15k revenue, with a 40% profit margin. My advertising costs to date are below $1000. I utilized a couple youtube stars to give me a mention which is by far the best dollar for per conversion I have ever seen. I also dabbled with some facebook ads and google to no real success. My traffic did increase but conversions did not. Currently my website receives on average 40 unique visitors a day with about 3-5 minutes per stay (depending on the device) I have not advertised in a year.

Here's what I offer. Your chain on your favourite cross gets damaged beyond repair where do you? Your local Jeweller right, Maybe a bigger store like Michael Hill. There you might pay $1200 to replace that 18kt chain. Well, I sell the same thing (made in Italy) for $800 and that's what I offer. The same thing you are going to buy from the same suppliers for less. (In the case of Wal-Mart my chains are 10x better and 1/4 the price)

How did I do it? I managed to make the right connections with some Jewellery suppliers in Toronto that supply most of the locals.

Last time. It was pointed out that some images are not the same size. Noted. I will be upgrading images as I do photoshoots for the products.

I learned that facebook advertising can be done successfully using much lower CPC's around $0.10 - $0.30. Instead of the $1 I was paying.

Somebody mentioned that he couldn't tell that there was an American price beside the Canadian dollar price. Please let me know if you have the same trouble.
