I have posted about my exodus from the corporate world and my start as a Window Cleaning business owner (see post links below). I am posting monthly updates as some of you requested that I do so.
I ended March (my second full month) closing out $9,091 of revenue. I really thought that I was going to be over $10,000 but it looks like it was just over $9,000 (having reporting issues). I got all of my sales from the follow channels: cold calling, thumbtack, craigslist, referrals from customers, yard signs, and flyers. I have also sold over $2000 of RMR to date. I am having issues running an accurate report for this at the moment or I would have exact numbers on RMR too. 58% of my revenue was from residential work and all but $50 of my RMR is from commercial. Obviously commercial work will be the steady revenue stream helping me keep my employees paid during slow seasons. The higher margin work is in the residential sector.
