Hi - I've got a site made with 21 pages of lengthy, well-researched & written, optimized, rich, delicious articles. And then a bunch more pages / articles padding the meat. My site's domain authority is still at a hilariously low 8 after 5 months of working on the site.
I'm confident in my research and content, everything is in order and optimized - I worked as a professional SEO/content writer for other companies in the past, but this is my first time building something from nothing.
So, in regards to building links - I see a lot of the same info floating around, and I wonder if authority sites like this are serving dated practices (published in 2013).
What are some good, white-hat, effective methods for link building these days? Besides guest articles, of course - I've been doing that for a competitor's site and their followed links don't seem to be giving me any help for some reason.
