1. Let's say www.example.com is a shop that sells product X.

2. I have a Facebook page about such products, and I agree with the shop owner to put a link to http://ift.tt/2vakf5C ("affiliate link") on my FB page

3. Now the shop owner can detect all the sales for which the referral to the shop is my FB page.

4. The shop owner can send me an Excel table, each month, with the number of sales thanks to my affiliate link + give me a %.

Questions:

• A. How is it possible to have a "trusted way" to do it, for both me and the shop owner? What if he only reports half of the sales coming from my FB page in the monthly report? I cannot detect this. Isn't there a mean to build a more trusted affiliate relationship ?

• B. What is a typical % in the software business?
