Request: Critique my homepage (Online Game) entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

Hi guys,

I run an online game and i'm not 100% happy with the home screen. I'd love some suggestions and criticism from you guys.

We aren't currently trying to increase traffic because we're in the process of rewriting the game in a different language (we wrote it in a language which we've now found substantial shortcomings to, happy to go into more detail if anyone is interested in the technical side of things). Once we're finished re-coding the game we're going to relaunch and would really like to have a solid home screen.

I'm not really happy with the aesthetics of it. For example, do you think the preview of the player model is necessary? To me the entire page looks like it's from the 90s.

Happy to answer any questions you guys have if you're interested in online web games. Also, we're currently having an issue where some users aren't getting the "enter game" button and are unable to play, we are aware of this and are trying to fix it at the moment.
