I work for a digital marketing company that provides many different SEO-boosting services for our clients, one of which being a 'sweep' of their local listing sites. We go through and update Yelp, Angie's List, yellowpages, and a couple dozen more sites to make sure all the information is correct, with the understanding that having accurate business information listed consistently throughout those listings has some SEO value. This can be a very time consuming process and I am skeptical about it's effectiveness.
Can anyone vouch for whether this practice has any SEO benefit?
