Localised TLD -what do you think? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

I'm planning on starting a company. I've chosen a name, checked if it's used by any other companies, checked the domain is available etc..

Now the .com .net and all the other old school TLDs are taken but mine is available with the .UK address. E.g. Mysite.uk

For the foreseeable future my company will only operate within the UK.

I want to know what people's views are on this type of address.
