Any entrepreneurs enter the corporate work force after starting your own business? What was it like? entrepreneur how earn by blogging blog

I started my own business a couple of years ago, a restaurant with a business partner. This isn't your run of the mill mom-and-pop restaurant, I spent loads of time (and money) on branding, interior architecture, marketing, PR, I oversaw the design, permitting and construction, I created the menu (I have a culinary background), etc you name it I did it, I basically created the whole thing from scratch and brought my partner in after the fact; I am the majority stakeholder. 2 years in, the business is self-sufficient, although since Trump's election profit margins have been thin (we are located in downtown DC, which has been adversely affected by Trump's election). My partner basically operates the business, and we have mutually agreed that I will step down from my hands-on role while retaining my majority ownership stake, until DC returns to normal and our revenue levels bounce back, we expect this to take 12-24 months.

In the meantime, I emailed a principal at the branding/architecture firm I contracted 3-4 years ago for this restaurant to see if they would hire me for a project director position they have listed on their site. She responded back right away offering to meet me to discuss it over lunch. I've maintained good relations with this company and they know me very well as a versatile entrepreneur, I'm more than qualified for this job. I feel like I've endured far more pressure and duress as an entrepreneur managing my own projects than I could possibly fathom managing somebody else's project, because when you're a small-business entrepreneur trying to get your restaurant open, you're working on your own limited budget and your own limited time and it's your ass on the line and liable. I feel like this job will be both challenging, in a satisfying way, as they take on big name restaurant/hospitality clients, but also a walk in the park compared to the level of involvement I'm used to.

Am I being naive? Or is my confidence reasonable?
